Southern Hokkaido, Research Trip Sept.22 to Oct. 4th, 2021

Yes, we went on the way to Southern Hokkaido again. It was our 4th time this year after the purchase of the Hokkaido Research Center in Esashi town. There were many things to be done in the building and we are making progress as we visited the center each time. This past 13 day visit brought further progress in setting up boiler, fixing water pipe lines, etc. The boiler was set up except there was a leak somewhere on the 2nd floor. Now at least, hot water is available to use. That is a progress. I had to open inspection opening to see how it was set up for the […]

Sleeping in the car

We used to have a camper with table, seats, and bunk beds with kitchen and toilet. It was sold last year. At the time, we didn’t think we will go trips like before. However, when God opens a door for Southern Hokkaido, it takes a whole day to get there. And we came to think to stay overnight on the way. So instead of 1 full day to go there, we decided to stay overnight on the way and make the trip slower with the station wagon we have. Recently I was busy setting up the station wagon to host us for a sleep in the car. FF heater is […]

Southern Hokkaido Research Trip in 2021 from March 27th to April 5th.

It is about time to research and intercede for Hokkaido. This year, we are focusing for the whole of Hokkaido but locally for the Southern Hokkaido including Hakodate. The reason is that the Southern Hokkaido has the longest history of Hokkaido where 1st settlers came to this area where it is closest from main island of Japan. From this trip, we will research about the unreached Hokkaido cities/towns/villages on why they are not reached yet. From there we will extract the points to pray for the unreached cities/towns/villages in a report form where they will be published afterwards for other like-minded people to pray together with this reports. It is […]

The purchase of the house for Research Center was done.

The purchase was finished. Now we need to renovate the house for the use of Research Center. We are planning to visit the site after we receive the keys to the house. I had a phone call from the previous owner, and he will send the keys soon. After the keys are in our hand, we plan to go there in March to check every thing there and plan for the renovation. We need to come up with ideas of how the house is to be used by whom, etc. The purpose of the Research Center is to research about the history of Hokkaido and find the things to pray […]

Report from our 3rd prayer journey from Aug. 5 – 9, 2017

Our journey was started on Aug. 5th, 2017. Our regular preparation was started including ready to use Vision Agent #1 (Camper). The Vision Agent is also used as a mobile classroom when I have a language class other than our regular classrooms in Gospel House or Vision House. It has provided us our shelter during our trip and it saves lots of stay fees. Aug. 5th covers Uryu town where we are staying at the Roadside Station where we get our free parking with 24 hour open access to the restrooms.  These days campers are very popular in Japan. Year after year camper users are increasing. You will find them […]
