Yes, we went on the way to Southern Hokkaido again. It was our 4th time this year after the purchase of the Hokkaido Research Center in Esashi town. There were many things to be done in the building and we are making progress as we visited the center each time. This past 13 day visit brought further progress in setting up boiler, fixing water pipe lines, etc. The boiler was set up except there was a leak somewhere on the 2nd floor. The Sakura Blossom season is at hand. This year the weather has changed and the blossom came earlier than the usual year. We are planning to visit some of the popular Sakura Blossom areas. Esashi Research Center needs lots of attention and we will try to meet those needs for maintenance. New boiler, garage fix, waterline leak fix, and the bushes around the building. We finally arrived to Esashi town where we have purchased a building for it. One way to the Esashi from our home takes about full day. So we decided to stay over night on the way in the mid way. The town we chose was Abira town. It is a small town with some Ainu population and a newly started Roadside Station. This will enable us to stay overnight in the car which was remodeled to have a heater and flat surface where both I and my wife can stay overnight comfortably. It will save some also.
