Southern Hokkaido, Research Trip Sept.22 to Oct. 4th, 2021

Yes, we went on the way to Southern Hokkaido again. It was our 4th time this year after the purchase of the Hokkaido Research Center in Esashi town. There were many things to be done in the building and we are making progress as we visited the center each time. This past 13 day visit brought further progress in setting up boiler, fixing water pipe lines, etc. The boiler was set up except there was a leak somewhere on the 2nd floor. Prayer Journey in Akita prefecture Dec. 22-28

This prayer journey is specially designed to research about the relationship between Hokkaido and Akita. Akita people in Hokkaido is the 2nd largest population. Some of their slangs are a part of Hokkaido local words. Akita prefecture has under a million people.  We will be praying for the unreached towns/villages also.

Report from our 3rd prayer journey from Aug. 5 – 9, 2017

Our journey was started on Aug. 5th, 2017. Our regular preparation was started including ready to use Vision Agent #1 (Camper). The Vision Agent is also used as a mobile classroom when I have a language class other than our regular classrooms in Gospel House or Vision House. It has provided us our shelter during our trip and it saves lots of stay fees. Aug. 5th covers Uryu town where we are staying at the Roadside Station where we get our free parking with 24 hour open access to the restrooms.  These days campers are very popular in Japan.
